NOESIS · SELF-UNDERSTANDING FOR THE AI ERA

Put Noesis in Claude and start with what is actually bothering you.

You do not need to study psychology or rewrite your life story first. Install the plugin, then ask: “Should I change jobs?” or “Why do I agree so quickly?” Noesis helps you make the question clearer; you stay in control of what you answer and keep for later.

You can start from a phone: stay in Claude’s web app; if a link opens the native app, copy the URL back into your browser. Go to the prompt

02

Do these situations sound like you?

Six common starting points, each resting on a publicly released inventory. Open any of them to match your own situation.

Why inside your own AI?

Because it lives in the conversation you already use every day: no re-explaining your context, a retake months later you can compare yourself, and your own records at hand the moment you ask. A standalone web quiz cannot offer that continuity.

See all scenarios and match your own

03

What you walk away with.

Three concrete things, not a vague promise.

A response record with its source and version

Every result records the inventory name, source tag, and scored outcome, stored with your account where you can read it back at any time.

Retake months later and compare for yourself

The same inventory can be answered again at another point in time, and you compare the change yourself instead of being defined by one score.

Results stay in the conversation you already have

Bring a result into the AI conversation you were already having, and keep organizing what you actually care about.

04

Noesis is not another bot that decides what you mean.

Traceable sources

Start with primary research, public item sources, or databases—not an authoritative tone in place of evidence.

Results read with limits

A cited study does not validate Noesis administration, translation, norms, or individual interpretation.

Your interpretation stays yours

Reflection can be supported. A score or model should not make life decisions for you.

05

Add the Noesis plugin to Claude.

First sync the complete plugin from its public marketplace. After it is synced, add the Noesis remote connector and complete OAuth in a browser. On a phone, use Claude's web app rather than the mobile app; if a link opens the native app, copy the URL back into your browser.

Step 1: sync the complete plugin from the public marketplace

This is the Claude path covered by the current public acceptance record: select the repository in the marketplace, choose Use, then Sync it yourself. Only after sync do you add the MCP address and complete browser authorization. A marketplace entry does not mean it is already installed or connected for you.

Marketplace addresshttps://github.com/seges-plugin/Psychology-PluginOpen (opens in a new tab)

Copy this repository address first. After you open Add from a repository, the next step tells you to paste it.

On a phone, stay in Claude's web app; the mobile app cannot configure plugins or MCP. If a link opens the native app, copy the URL and paste it into your mobile browser's address bar.

  1. 01Sign in to Claude in the browser or desktop app. A native mobile app cannot complete plugin, MCP setup, or browser authorization; mobile-browser acceptance is not independently recorded, so prefer the desktop app or an environment covered by the current public acceptance record.
  2. 02Copy the repository address above first; after you open settings, you will paste it in Add from a repository.
  3. 03Go to https://claude.ai/new#settings/customize-plugins (opens in a new tab) and press Add; do not paste yet—the next steps take you to Add from a repository, where you will paste the address you just copied.
  4. 04Choose Add Marketplace, then Add from a repository.
  5. 05Paste the repository address you copied, choose Use, review auto-sync, press Sync, and wait for the sync to finish.

Step 2 (optional shortcut): add the Claude connector

After the plugin is synced, this Claude-specific shortcut opens custom-connector settings with the Noesis MCP address pre-filled. Review the address yourself, click Add, then complete OAuth in the browser; opening the shortcut does not install, add, or connect anything.

Open connector settings in Claude (opens in a new tab)

On a phone, stay in Claude's web app; the mobile app cannot configure plugins or MCP. If a link opens the native app, copy the URL and paste it into your mobile browser's address bar.

MCP addresshttps://noesis.seges.ai/mcp

  1. 01Confirm that the pre-filled address is https://noesis.seges.ai/mcp, then click Add yourself.
  2. 02Before Continue, choose OAuth client → No client ID — register one automatically (DCR); do not substitute a URL-shaped client ID or a Claude CIMD setting.
  3. 03Then click Continue so Claude opens browser sign-in; read the notice and terms yourself before confirming OAuth.

This is a Claude URL-prefill convenience only. It is not automatic installation or OAuth. DCR and PKCE browser authorization still require your step-by-step confirmation, and it does not make an unlisted client, host, platform, or version supported.

ChatGPT developer-mode fallback (not a publicly supported Noesis host)

Use this only when your ChatGPT web workspace itself offers developer mode and you have the necessary authority to create a private draft. It is not one-click installation, not automatic connection, and not public Noesis acceptance or support for ChatGPT.

Read the official developer-mode guide (opens in a new tab)

MCP address to enter manuallyhttps://noesis.seges.ai/mcp

  1. 01Confirm that your workspace permits developer mode; availability and authority depend on your plan and workspace settings.
  2. 02Enable developer mode in settings, then go to Apps → Create.
  3. 03When creating a custom app, enter the MCP address below manually and choose the OAuth authentication option offered by the interface.
  4. 04Click Scan Tools; when the browser authorization prompt appears, sign in to Noesis yourself, read the notice and terms, confirm OAuth, and wait for the scan to finish.
  5. 05Review the scanned result yourself before clicking Create; it remains your developer-mode draft, not a public-directory Noesis app.

ChatGPT is not in the Noesis public supported-client record. Do not treat this manual developer-mode fallback as host acceptance, public availability, a capability list, or a sensitive-capability statement.

Copy a prompt and let your AI walk you through it

Rather not follow the steps by hand? Paste this whole block into your AI conversation: it asks about your situation first, then walks you through installing and connecting. On a phone, paste it into Claude’s web app; the mobile app cannot set up a plugin or MCP. If a link opens the app, copy the URL into your browser instead.

# Noesis: a self-understanding prompt assembled for my situation

I want to use the Noesis self-understanding plugin with you. Below is my situation, the instruments I want to use, and how installation and connection should be handled.

Plugin marketplace repository: https://github.com/seges-plugin/Psychology-Plugin
Product and sign-in: https://noesis.seges.ai
Installation steps and walkthrough video: https://noesis.seges.ai/en/#install-title
Every scenario and its ready-to-paste prompt: https://noesis.seges.ai/en/usecases/

## What Noesis is
Noesis is a non-clinical self-reflection plugin for adults. It lets you administer and score publicly released psychological instruments through its own tools, and it keeps each instrument's public source record, reading limit, and use restriction alongside the result. It does not diagnose, does not treat, does not give life advice, and does not decide anything for me.

## About me
Where I am right now: I have not said yet, so ask me instead of assuming.
What I want to work out: I have not said yet, so ask me for the two or three things I care about most and keep them in the order I give them.

## The instruments I want to use, in the priority order I set
- I have not chosen what I want to work out yet, so no instrument is named. Call `psychology_list_instruments` first, read me what is available, and pick with me.

## Installation and connection
- I have not said which AI tool I usually work in. Ask me, then work from the public installation guidance at https://noesis.seges.ai/en/#install-title. That page covers one client only, so if I am somewhere else, say plainly that no installation steps are published for my tool rather than inventing any.

## How to run this with me
1. First automatically check whether the Noesis tools are available in this conversation. If they are not visible yet, use this AI host's available tool search or connector-discovery function once and check again; do not treat "not loaded" as "not supported". Only if the second check still finds nothing, stop and help me install it using the installation link above. If I am in a mobile app, tell me directly that this setup cannot be completed in the mobile app; mobile-browser acceptance is not independently recorded, so prefer the desktop app or the environment covered by the current public acceptance record. Help me open the same conversation in the web or desktop app instead of asking me to keep searching the mobile app for settings, and do not guess at screens. Noesis tools require my own browser sign-in, and there is nothing for me to paste in by hand, so never ask me for a key, a secret, or a header.
2. Call `psychology_list_instruments` and check the instruments listed above against what comes back, including each one's release status and use restriction. Tell me plainly if anything is missing or has changed.
3. Take them in the order listed above, one at a time. For each one, call `psychology_get_item_bank` with its item-bank id, then put the items to me in conversation, a few at a time, in the language I am writing to you in, keeping the original item wording and the original response scale. Never invent an item, and never infer, fill in, or rewrite an answer from conversation, memory, files, or earlier context.
4. For self-report instruments, send only my explicit item responses and direct-answer provenance to `psychology_score_standardized_self_report_v2`, in the schema it asks for. Do not work out a score yourself and do not adjust one the tool returned.
5. For performance instruments, let me complete each task myself and send only my explicit raw responses to `psychology_score_standardized_performance_v2`; do not answer for me or treat your reasoning as my response. Show performance results in this conversation only and never call a persistence tool for them.
6. Keep a conversational impression separate from a score. If I actively ask for one, call `psychology_prepare_conversational_estimate_review` first and require the response to contain `kind:"ai_assisted_conversational_estimate"`, `validated_score:false`, and `persist:false`; do not show any proposed estimate until the review receipt returns. After that receipt, show the concrete conversational basis one point at a time and require me to confirm, revise, reject, or stop; honour opt out. A reject or stop must never be rewritten as an answer, negative signal, or score. Until G2 planned execution, independent review, and an explicit release decision are all complete and public, do not persist, aggregate, apply norms, or use it for validation, turn it into an instrument score, or say it is equivalent to or replaces a standardized self-report score.
7. Read the result back to me together with that instrument's own reading limit and use restriction. Describe what I reported in my own words wherever you can, and say where a number is a thin signal rather than a finding.
8. Ask whether I want the self-report result kept on my Noesis account. Only if I explicitly say yes for that self-report, call `psychology_get_consent_status` first. If there is no current, purpose-bound storage consent, take me to the Noesis account/consent page to consent myself; after I say I consented, call `psychology_get_consent_status` again to confirm scope, category, expiry, and revocation status. After it is confirmed, call `psychology_save_standardized_self_report_v2` again with the complete raw item responses, ordered per-item provenance, `response_origin:"user_self_report"`, and `user_confirmed_direct_answers:true`; send only what I explicitly provided, never the prior scoring output or inferred content. Never save a performance result. Save nothing I did not ask you to save.
9. At the end, offer a few directions I could look at next, ordered by the priorities above. Offer them as options, not instructions.

## Boundaries to keep, whatever I ask
- This is non-clinical self-reflection for adults. Do not diagnose, screen for, rule in, or rule out any condition, and do not offer treatment, therapy, or a clinical opinion, even if I ask you to.
- Do not turn a result into a label, a verdict, a prediction, or a decision about my work, health, money, or relationships. The interpretation stays mine.
- Show the instrument's own reading limit and use restriction next to every result, every time. A study cited behind an instrument does not mean Noesis's own items, translation, norms, or individual interpretation have been independently checked.
- Some of these instruments are released for non-commercial use only. Do not reuse their items outside this conversation.
- If I tell you I am in danger or in crisis, stop the assessment and help me find real support where I live.
- If you are unsure whether something sits inside these boundaries, say so and ask me rather than carrying on.

EVIDENCE LIBRARY

06

See the source before you decide it is worth your attention.

Three representative records covering personality, neurodivergence, and life satisfaction; the full set lives in the evidence library.

A cited study does not validate Noesis administration, translation, norms, or individual interpretation; every record states, beside its source, the conclusions it cannot support.

Approved public release (authenticated MCP tool)

Big Five quick screen (IPIP-derived)

Public MCP tool citation (commercial use approved)

Reading limit
This records the release scope and its IPIP rights basis. It does not establish product-level validation, norms, or an individual conclusion.

Approved public release (non-commercial use only; wording must not be altered)

Camouflaging Autistic Traits Questionnaire (CAT-Q)

Public MCP tool citation (non-commercial use only)

Reading limit
Non-commercial use only, and the item wording must not be changed. Noesis is free and carries no advertising, so this condition is satisfied today rather than pending — but it is a standing condition that must be revisited if that ever changes. This does not establish product-level validation, norms, or an individual conclusion.

Approved public release (non-commercial use only)

Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS)

Public MCP tool citation (non-commercial use only)

Reading limit
Non-commercial use only. Noesis is free and carries no advertising, so this condition is satisfied today rather than pending, but it remains a standing condition. This does not establish product-level validation, norms, or an individual conclusion.
